Library Assistant I

The Voluntown Public Library is seeking a person for a Library Assistant Level I position for 9-12 hrs per week for afternoons, evenings and rotating Saturdays with opportunity to fill in as needed. The ideal candidate would be dedicated to the hours and schedule and be willing to fill in if needed and would primarily work at the circulation desk checking items in/out, answering the phone, greeting customers, and assisting patrons with photocopying, faxing and basic computer questions and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
