Sign Up for Notifications, Alerts, and Weather
Our new website notification and alert systems make it easier for residents to get information.
Notifications
The new Notification system, Notify Me, allows for you to subscribe to an unlimited number of email lists. Receive email and/or text messages regarding meeting agendas, and calendar events and meetings. Notify Me allows you to subscribe to an unlimited number of email lists. Receive email or text message updates regarding the information you have requested.
By clicking “Website Sign In” on the MyAccount bar at the top of the new website screen, users may create a login for the site or use their Facebook profile to access MyAccount. Creating a MyAccount profile will allow for streamlined access to subscription management in NotifyMe, filling out of forms or other requests and more.
Alerts
The new Alert system is replacing our current TextMyGov text notification system. We encourage everyone to sign up for the new system as there are more options on receiving information. The new system sign up will give you the preference on how to be notified, whether it be by text, email, and/or home line phone call. It will also ask for an address which will be used if we have an alert that goes out specific to a certain section of town. There is also an option with the new alert system for language choice. The new alert system also has a mobile app that can be downloaded from Google Play or App Store (more info in the link below).
Weather
Weather alerts is another new sign-up option. You can choose the type of weather event alerts you would like to receive.
Monthy Email Newsletter
The Voluntown Monthly Email Newsletter is sent out the first week of every month. It includes information on what's going on in the town hall and in town.
