Carroll Road Bridge Closing on February 6th

A Message from Todd Babbitt, Public Works Director of the Town of Griswold:

Please be advised that effective Monday, February 6,2023, the Town of Griswold will be closing the above-mentioned structure on Carroll Road. All recipients of this notice should verify that all necessary entities or departments within your jurisdiction were notified. The closure will remain in effect until the structure is completely removed at which time the roadway will be permanently closed.

Detour route from the Voluntown side will be back out to route 138 and onto Sheldon Road in Griswold.

Detour route from the Griswold side will be back out to route 138 and onto Carroll Row in Voluntown.
