Public Health Alert: Voluntown in Red Alert Level

Residents age 75 and over can now register for a vaccination appointment, visit here. 

The Department of Public Health still has Voluntown listed in the Covid-19 Red Alert Level.

This is based on the number of positive COVID-19 cases reported over a two week period.  That number for Voluntown is 48 cases with week one (12/27- 1/2) at 27 cases, and week two (1/3- 1/9 )at 21 cases.

The Red Alert is to remind us that we need to continue to follow the 3 W’s- Wear your masks, Wash your hands, Watch your distance. 

Residents are encouraged to get tested, even if asymptomatic (showing no symptoms). To find a free COVID-19 testing location nearby, visit: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/Priority-Populations    or dial 2-1-1

Residents who are considered high risk are encouraged to stay home and stay safe.
